Google reviews: terms and privacy

Terms of use

Our Google reviews feature is subject to the Google Terms of Service. Reviews belong to their authors and reflect their own experiences. They do not form part of a hire quotation or guarantee a particular outcome.

The rating and total review count come from Google. Google selects up to five reviews and orders them by relevance. We display the returned reviews without filtering by star rating and use their original text where available. Follow the Google Maps links to view all reviews, report content, or write your own review.

Privacy policy for this feature

The Google Privacy Policy applies to Google services used by this feature. Our server requests the business rating and public review details from Google when the reviews section approaches your screen. This request does not include your enquiry or contact details.

Public reviewer names, profile pictures, profile links, ratings and review text may be displayed. Profile pictures load directly from Google, which receives the network information needed to serve them, including your IP address. Following a Google link opens a Google service. Writing a review happens on Google.

We do not save review content in our lead or quote databases, store it in browser storage, or send it as analytics event properties. Reviews may be temporarily unavailable when Google cannot be reached.
